Georgia Stone Products, a Cobb County-based mining company, whom filed a Development of Regional Impact application to pursue the rezoning and conditional approvals needed to establish a granite quarry. This will include a central rock pit for mining along with a granite plant.

The company, which operates six quarries across Georgia, Florida and South Carolina, plan to spend $40 Million Dollars on this monstrous project . They have been denied rezoning four times for their quarry site in Adairsville Ga (Bartow County).  This new proposed location in White Georgia has a much more fragile ecosystem. A decision to allow his proposal would not only be irresponsible but detrimental to our environment!
